Consider a wave in the ocean. It is born, moves about, and at some point "dies", not to be seen again. The wave, however, is just an illusion. There is only the ocean, always there, never born and never dying. Similarly, the universe is like a living fabric. You and I are just momentary folds in the fabric, coming and going as the fabric shifts. The living, conscious fabric has always been there and will always be there. Hence "we are all cut from the same cloth." One need only "wake up" and realize there is only the one, and that is us and all that surrounds us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8501743729996503518.post-14960831879837073652009-02-04T23:30:00.000-05:002009-02-04T23:30:00.000-05:002009-02-04T23:30:00.000-05:00Wonderful, one of my favorite Rumi poems :)Ya Haqq...Wonderful, one of my favorite Rumi poems :)

Ya Haqq!Irvinghttp://darvish.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
